Account Executive – Nordics

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Sales Executive to work the Nordics market for a leading startup providing their clients with data insight through the introduction of their Enterprise system. Candidates with a proven track record of success selling Big Data and Advanced Analytics systems and services are highly sought. Our client is offering a double OTE with stock options and a healthy benefits scheme.

About the Role:

  • Executing sales activities to meet & exceed new business acquisition targets and revenue quotas
  • Coordinating pipeline and sales forecasting activities with sales management
  • Working towards and securing new business revenue in your allocated vertical
  • Developing territory plans and account plans outlining a strategy for success
  • Working alongside Marketing, Engineering and Product Management
  • Developing value propositions and delivering them to target execs
  • Maintaining and promoting customer satisfaction to ensure 100% customer reference ability
  • Travel is expected up to 20% of the time

 

Skills:

  • Demonstrated successful track record in securing direct high net worth enterprise software sales
  • Dynamic, high energy sales professional with sales experience in FTSE 250 accounts
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas for at least 3 years
  • Understanding of Big Data, Advanced Analytics and Data Integration is preferred
  • Understanding of the ‘Challenger Sales Model’ or similar highly desirable
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close enterprise-level software license agreements at Exec level
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success of working independently, with a proven track record of prospecting, proposing and closing new business
  • Demonstrable track record of increasing deal size through upsell / cross-sell and accelerating the buying process
  • Demonstrated success working within a startup
