Job Description

We are hiring a Vice President of Marketing for a leading enterprise software organisation as they continue an impressive growth trajectory. The VP of Marketing will be based remotely in the US working directly with the executive team to strategically drive market awareness, differentiated positioning, and demand generation. Specifically, reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for digital and web marketing, field marketing, messaging and positioning, analyst relations, marketing operations. They will be a strategic contributor to the company’s direction and growth.

Our ideal candidate will have acquired a wide skillset within modern B2B marketing techniques in order to reach relevant enterprise IT buyers. Communicating our unique value, creating thought leadership and driving demand will come naturally. We require a person who is an excellent communicator, impeccably creative, consistently driving ideas and thinking bigger and better while overcoming the usual hurdles.

We are seeking a person who is working at a platform based enterprise-level software organisation who truly understands the complexities around the offering and expectations of the customer.

The Role

  • Effectively lead and manage a team of highly productive business leaders
  • Build an effective program designed to drive awareness and demand
  • Own the message, driving a unique proposition
  • Study the customer, deliver content that supports and engages
  • Work closely with the Sales leader
  • Deliver engaging, relevant content to meet and spike the interest of target audiences
  • Report to the CEO on activity and future planning
  • Ensure best practices in relation to demand generation
  • Identify ways to ensure clients are making use of all available tools
  • work with the wide team to oversee PR and comms
  • Hire, coach and mentor new members of the senior team

Skills Required

  • Enterprise software experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of go-to-market and product-led growth
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strategically minded
