How quickly can you provide temporary staff?
We move quickly. In most cases, we can introduce suitable candidates within 24–72 hours depending on the role and requirements.
Can you carry out background or credit checks on candidates?
Yes. We can support a range of background checks depending on your requirements, including employment references, DBS, right to work verification, and credit checks where relevant to the role. We’ll always align the level of screening with your business needs and ensure all checks are carried out in line with UK data protection and employment regulations.
How do timesheets and payment work?
All temporary staff complete online timesheets, which are approved by your team each week. We then handle payroll, tax, and administration, and invoice you only for the time worked.
Are your temporary staff employed via PAYE?
Yes. All temporary staff are employed via PAYE, ensuring full compliance with UK employment law. This removes IR35 risk and avoids the use of umbrella or non-compliant payroll models.
Can you payroll a temporary worker we have sourced ourselves?
Yes. If you have already identified a suitable temporary worker, we can onboard them through our PAYE payroll. This ensures full compliance with UK employment law, takes care of tax, National Insurance, and administration, and removes any IR35 risk for your business.
What happens if the placement isn’t the right fit?
If something isn’t working, we act quickly. We’ll manage the conversation with the individual and arrange a replacement where needed, ensuring minimal disruption to your team.
Do we only pay for days worked?
Yes. You are only invoiced for the days or hours the temporary worker has completed and that have been approved via timesheets.
What are your fees?
Our pricing is straightforward and tailored to each brief. We agree everything upfront with no hidden costs. For temporary staffing, you only pay for approved days worked, making it a flexible and cost-effective solution.
Do temporary workers receive holiday pay?
Yes. All temporary workers are paid via PAYE and are entitled to holiday pay in line with UK employment law. Holiday pay is accrued based on the hours or days worked and can be taken or paid in accordance with the assignment terms.
Can temporary roles become permanent?
Absolutely. Many of our placements transition into permanent roles. This allows you to assess performance and cultural fit before making a long-term hire.
